I love a good book cover and when the cover matches the story perfectly, I am one satisfied reader. This is a sequel to Once Upon a Genie that explores the love story between Daisy, a human and a genie, Khalil.  The story is about a Solomon, their human-genie hybrid son's quest to discover his true purpose in life. The plot was a slow-burn kind of one, full of mystery & enough spice of danger and adventure to keep you on the edge of your seat—the rest of it did that actually as well. The dramatic plot is one of the key essence of the novel.

The characters were all well-drawn and I loved them. I love the way author weaves faith into fantasy and brings it all together in a gripping story!
