Paperback, 315 Pages"PRALAY - The Great Deluge" by Vineet Bajpai is a thrilling and intriguing sequel to his previous bestseller "Harappa - Curse Of The Blood River." The genre of the book is historical thriller. The title offers a good prospect of what lies in the pages of the book. The cover of the book is very attractive and intriguing.
The book started with the flashbacks of the previous book and then the story started. The author has a very unique style of storytelling that effortlessly weaves together millennia, characters and situations wonderfully. The characters of vidyut, matsya, vivasvan pujari is portrayed very well. The presentation of plot and facts was so well that it didn't get dull or boring at any point. The plot is constructed so well around different eras that you don’t feel that you suddenly jumped from one time period to another.
The book is well-researched and a must-read for a mythological, fiction and history lover. Eagerly awaiting the next book. Desperate to know the secret of the black temple now.
