A sequel to Tears If Jhelum , Despite Stolen Dreams is a continuation of the story of Wali on reaching Delhi from his homeland Kashmir after his escape from the terrorists. The cover of the book is very interesting. The title is very catchy as well. I liked the narrative style of the author. The language is lucid and flowy. The author's writing style is also very unique and captivating. Anita Krishan has managed to portray the city of Delhi honestly.
The characters are extremely well-developed and the author has managed to bring out the realism.
