I completed this book in about 3 hours. It was so captivating. After reading this it brought a whole other side of him. the book covers everything from his childhood to his family to his sexuality.

He talks about his childhood, and how it was like growing up in a small town. He talks about how it's like to start high school, and how intensely scary it is. He talks about how it's like to feel the pressure to fit in, and how he overcame that when he realized that he was good enough. Everyone has had those times when they felt this way and Connor's insight really helps if your going through tough times.

For someone who became famous due to YouTube, Connor surprisingly does not stress much on YouTube in his book. He talks about how this all came to be but other than that, he certainly does not give “YouTube” any special treatment. While there might be some people who find that this makes the book uninteresting, I actually like the way it is.

This raw, genuine and honest writing of his, showed us, and showed me the real Connor behind the cameras. The way he tells his own story is so great, and you can really tell he has a passion for photography.

What is most enjoyable about this book is that Connor’s writing style is real and you can feel his personality in each word.  It seems as though he was speaking the words instead of writing them, or as though this is just a written YouTube video.

If you're into photography like me, and you love looking at artistic, tumblrish picture then you need to purchase this book ASAP. The perspective of the book was easy to relate too.
