The stories in this compilation are all very raw and honest. Some stories are sad and some are more on the brighter side, but all the stories are very compelling, and I just couldn't put the book down. There are 10 intriguing stories in this book. The stories are beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. One can expect either an unexpected twist, a smile, a tear, or anger at the end of every story.

The detailing of people and the surroundings make you feel a part of the story, the characters that will stay with you forever. You get a brief view into another's world, and while sometimes you wish there was more, more often than not it's just the right amount.

Each story is very character driven which I loved. It was interesting getting into their heads especially when faced with something as monumental as loss and subsequent grief. I loved the diversity of the stories and the different perspectives that are presented. Some of them touched me and others showed me incidents and events from another person's point of view that I may not have considered.

I would suggest not to read them all at once, take your time and savor the moment and enjoy them, that's what a good short story is all about. I carried the book with me while traveling a month back and I really enjoyed reading thoroughly. These stories have something for everyone with a wide array of settings, characters, and subjects. If you’re into short stories, too, I highly recommend checking this one out. It won’t let you down!
