Footprints by Nisha Tandon | Book Review

Summary:

"Footprints" is a collection of my personal thoughts narrated in a poetic style. It may strike a chord and resonate with your life. You will find my poetry descriptive with vivid imagery and a flavoured undertone of subtle story telling.

Footprints as they say are impressions one creates through their walk of life. They may erase with time but leave behind precious memories. In the pages of “Footprints” I have attempted to present and preserve some of my most cherished memories. These are pure emotions straight from my heart to yours!

I have been a lifelong fan of poetry and enjoy nearly any genre you could name. The poems in the book are moving and poignant and make you think and feel the words on the page. I liked how the writing easily flowed and kept me captivated throughout the book. There were multiple points where I had goosebumps over words that hit to close to home but the best words are the ones that make you feel something.

The poems are short and they can read all night or pick just one when they have time. I applaud the author for sharing her vulnerability and allowing us to take a glimpse into her world. I have my favorites and highly recommend that poetry lovers and non-lovers buy this book.
